The Way, The Truth, The Life
Between Zion and God stands a gate, and that gate has a name. When Thomas asked, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how can we know the way?” Jesus answered plainly: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Christ does not simply point toward the path — He is the path. He walked ahead of us, through suffering symbolized by the crown of thorns, so that the road home would be walked, tested, and opened once and for all.

Through Jesus, the Way Is Open
The writer of Hebrews describes it this way: “We have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that He opened for us through the curtain, that is, through His flesh.” What was once closed — the presence of God Himself — has been thrown open through the cross.
The two emblems above tell one story: the crown of thorns worn in sorrow, and the plain cross that remains as victory. Because of what Christ carried, we no longer walk toward God in fear, but with confidence, as sons and daughters welcomed home.
